Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with,

1. design
2. construction 
3. operation
4. application  of robots.....

                             

Automation is the word came from "automatic". Automatic word means is the sequence of instructions which are occurred into the machine. For this understanding we can take the example of Accelerator, when person stand upon it, accelerator runs. We thinks that these things happens automatically but behind this all activities there are set of number programmers that first you have do this then do this then do this, etc.. So, we can see that there are making of steps. So, these  our work is automatic. And automation complete those things that sequence of  instructions are doings behinds that particular works. 

          Now, come to the point that what are the ''ROBOT''??

                 

                       Robot is an automotive device or system that perform function belonging to the human being, which appears to be almost human intelligence like sitting, walking, talking, eyes blinking, working like daily activities, etc. And works like human intelligence. It works on human intelligent.

                             How it came and What is the history of Robots????

 
                            

                             Robot word intodiced at firsttime in a play in 1920 named Rossumovi Univerzalni Roboti means Rossum's Universal Robots which actual means 'forced labor' by Czech writer Josef Capek who is the true inventor of this word. So, the true meanings of Robotnic means "workers and slaves". 

                                 

                            After 8 years of Introducing a word in 1928, first two armed Robot of Aluminium body and then after  contribute Standford University participate and IBM companies and so many other Japanese companies. In 1983, one of the US company made Six leg device like Robot. And it can lift the weight of two to three times than it's weight. Than after that lot's of inventions like 

Military Robots

Mining Robots

Medical Robots

General Purpose Robots.

So, we can see in Hollywood movies like Avengers and Star wars, etc.. 

                           Why we use Robots in place of Humans????

                           

              1. To save labor and reduce cost

           2. Products bad for humans, For Ex. Radio activity, Gama                    Rays, Cosmic Rays,etc...

          3. Eliminate a human operation...so that apart from that                        activities human intelligence mind can do advance things.

          4. Limitation of humans For Ex. weight, lift,fly,etc..
